This premium window cut is sourced from Airbus A330-243 G-MDBD, an aircraft that served for over 18 years, carrying countless passengers to long haul holiday destinations as part of the Thomas Cook Airlines fleet.
 
Originally delivered to MyTravel Airways in April 2001, G-MDBD became part of Thomas Cook Airlines UK following the MyTravel/Thomas Cook merger. Repainted into Thomas Cook’s final livery, the aircraft bore the distinctive orange and metallic silver colour scheme, which became synonymous with the airline’s modern branding. 
 
G-MDBD was a familiar sight at major UK airports such as Manchester and London Gatwick, operating long haul routes to the Caribbean, North America, and Southeast Asia. With its Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines and 253-seat layout, it offered both reliability and comfort to thousands of holidaymakers year-round.
 
The aircraft continued operating under Thomas Cook until the airline's collapse in September 2019, after which G-MDBD was stored and eventually parted out at Manchester Airport.
